Ryan brought us some toad eggs that hatched into tadpoles. They are changing every day and it's fun to watch them and remember all the tadpoles we had as kids.
Hooray, Sarah's finally joined us! The toad eggs are awesome. I bet the kids are LOVING it! I remember how cool it was to watch them grow legs and grow into frogs. I just asked Greg if he ever had tadpoles and watched them grow into frogs, he said "No, I didn't grow up on a dirt road"...but then he said "I'm just teasing...sometimes I'm jealous of your country up-bringing." There are just some things you can't do when you live in the city...like have tadpoles, horney toads, and salamanders that you caught in your backyard as pets :)
I think tadpole season was my favorite season of all. Of course, it was SUMMER, but I could never get over how interesting it was to watch them turn to frogs. I'm so glad the kids get to watch that - it just never gets old! We all know Greg is secretly jealous of the country/hick upbringin' ya'll got! ;)
